Behind the venture are the owner of Stokehouse
, who knows a thing or two about serving high end nosh and his business partner who launched Donut Boyz in Maroochydore to great acclaim. For the job they’ve employed a dedicated French pastry chef, who churns out all manner of delectable donuts from opening time to when they run out
Flavours start with the basic but yummy cinnamon and run the gamut of glazed strawberry, pistachio and blackberry jam through to Salted Caramel Popcorn, Blueberry Cheesecake, Caramel Pecan, Lemon Meringue Pie (house made lemon curd and Italian meringue) and the indulgent Chocolate Man (chocolate malt custard, chocolate ganache and chocolate macaron).
It’s worth noting that all fillings, jams and sauces are also made by the chef. Best of all, these donuts, which are easily a dessert-in-one, or a light sweet tooth’s breakfast, are just $4.50* each.
